Brynn is only in kindergarten, but she has homework that she has to turn in weekly. Luckily, they are fun things, like reading a book together every evening and practicing a new skill. Several times, her homework included "practicing tying her shoes". After a few attempts, Brynn has become frustrated at not being able to do it correctly. However, the other day, she finally mastered it! And once she got it, she hasn't had to ask me to show her again. She was so proud! She was so excited that she could finally tie her own shoes, that she wore her shoes to bed and continued to practice until she fell asleep.
